1. E-Cigarettes Are Still Full of Nicotine

They may be tobacco free but they’re certainly not nicotine-free, making them just as addictive as regular cigarettes.

2. They’re Highly Toxic

The same chemical that makes them addictive, also makes them extremely damaging to your health! Liquid nicotine is from tobacco, but in liquid form, it is deadly if you ingest it or are exposed to it topically.

There has been a drastic increase in calls to the poison control centre regarding e-cigarettes in the last 4 years. An average of 1 call was made per month in 2010, however now an average of 215 calls are made currently per month.

3. Second Hand Vapor

These e-cigarettes still produce harmful vapor to those who choose not to smoke them! What’s even worse is that there is not as much regulation concerning e-cigarettes and many public places have yet to ban them like regular cigarettes. In the meantime those of us who do not use e-cigarettes are still exposed to harmful vapor and toxic chemicals.

4. Cause Lung Damage

We know that conventional cigarettes can cause lung cancer, but many people who smoke e-cigarettes think they’re in the clear. Avid e-cigarette smokers are showing weakened lung function, airway resistance and cellular changes. Studies have shown that our cells react similarly when exposed to tobacco smoke as when exposed to e-cigarette vapor.

5. Zero Quality Control

There’s hasn’t been a sufficient amount of information released to convince me of their safety. Most e-cigarette manufactures do not disclose the ingredients in their product, nor do they specify the accurate amount of nicotine in the disposable cartridges.

Some cartridges contained diethylene glycol (used in anti-freeze), so you can only image what else they’re hiding in these nicotine cartridges! And that’s not all, even the cartridges that are nicotine free have shown to have traces of liquid nicotine!
